Pořídil jsem si Raspberry Pi
Blíží se moje narozeniny, né že bych na sebe chtěl nejak vyloženě upozorňovat, stejně mi dárek nedáte, ale bylo na čase zvolit dar, jež bych mohl dostat od přítelkyně. Volba padla na něco o čem jsem již delší dobu stejně uvažoval a to na Raspberry Pi Model B Rev2 Mini PC 512MB se zárukou. Objednal jsem si to z Aukra za řekl bych hezkou cenu. A protože prodávající byl spolehlivý, přišlo zboží brzy. Já bych do narozenin čekat stejně nevydržel, tak jsem dostal dárek o pouhý měsíc dříve 
K malině jsem si neobjednal žádnou krabičku, protože jsem ještě neměl moc jasno v tom, co s ní chci podniknout. Což jsem vzhledem k tomu, jak jsem ji využil, posléze vyhodnotil jako chybu. Ale neva. Malina přišla v nevzhledné růžové krabičce.

Po vybalení jsem začal nejprve s chystáním celého zařízení. Protože nemám doma žádný HDMI monitor, (Jojo, doba notebooková. Ve skutečnosti nemám doma žádný monitor 
) nezbylo než to umístit rovnou k televizi. Umístil jsem to provizorně, jak se můžete podívat na obrázku níže. Propojil jsem to USB kabelem s televizí pro napájení, HDMI kabelem pro obraz a ethernetem pro data! Pro ovládání jsem zvolil starší bezdrátovou klávesnici Logitech s myší. (na televizi krabička na hoře) Bohužel jsem chvíli řešil proč mi myš a klávesnice nechodí. Způsobeno to bylo tím, že přijímač a myš a klávesnice musí být ve stejné víšce. Již je přendáno, na fotkách ještě ne.
Poté, když byla HW stránka celé věci hotova, jal jsem se chystat SW. Protože jsem o tom nevěděl ani zbla, našel jsem si první jednodušší návod a instaloval. Instalace byla naprosto jednoduchá. Stáhl jsem si exáč, kde jsem zadal IP adresu zařízení. Pár kliky jsem vytvořil obraz na kartu a mohlo se instalovat! Níže se podívejte, jak vypadá instalace.
Když proběhl celý proces, došlo k několika restartům a začal mi bootovat XBMC z mého Pi. Níže fotka prvního bootu.
Dále už jen několik postřehů:
- Malina protože je napájená z televize se vypne a zapne s ní. Ovšem po každém startu hlásí chybu napájení. Je to taky problém, kdyby jste si chtěli na malinu něco nahrát když je vypnutá televize.
- XBMC mi podelší nekativitě vytuhává nebo usíná, ačkoliv je sleep vypnutý...
- Celé zařízení jde ovádat ovladačem od TV, není tedy potřeba žádná myš! To bylo velmi hezké zjištění!
- Nepraktická instalace českých modulů.
- Co využívám hodně je funkce AirPlay od Apple. Apple TV nemám. Ale toto ji velice pohodlně nahradí za pár kaček. Sice se někdy stane že přenos při prvním spuštění vytuhne, ale ojediněle. Plánuji se podívat po možnosti přehrávání z Androidu a W7. Nicméně, nejpohodlnější pouštění seriálu z internetu je přes mobil!!!
Věřím že většinu nevýhod odstraní praktické používaní a zžití se, nebo také jiná instalace XBMC. Rád bych připravil několik návodů, jak co nejpohodlněji vše nakonfigurovat. Na českém webu je spousta návodů ale nikde nic uceleného, přitom věřím, že komunita kolem bude opravdu veliká!

gratuluji k pořízení aspberry-pi :-) taky jsem o tomhle zajimavem ks HW přemýšlel ale tak nějak jsem zatím pořád nepřišel na to k čemu by mě vlastně byl :-)

Já tak nějak čekám na dlouhé zimní večery, abych mohl využít plný potenciál zařízení... Nicméně funkci domácího mediálního centra to plní na sto procent. Dokonce lépe než jsem čekal!
